Here is a review of the brand new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS with all three trims detailed along with features, specs, performance and prices listed. The model Camaro tested in the video was the 2017 Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition which is priced at $48,695. Other models are the 2SS starting at $41,905 and the 1SS starts at $36,905. All models of the 2017 Camaro SS come with the 6.2 liter V8 making 455 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 455 ft-lbs of torque at 4,400 rpm. The two transmissions available are the 6 speed manual and 8 speed paddle shift able automatic. The 0-60 times vary between 4-4.3 seconds. For those that care the EPA estimated miles per gallon are 16 city and 25 highway.
Some Key Features Worth Mentioning
First off the 2017 Camaro SS has a feature that tells you the speed limit of which ever road you are driving on. And we all know as gear heads it's easy to go "slightly" over the speed limit especially with 455 horsepower. As you've heard before visibility from the cockpit could be better, but it's nothing you can't get used to. A back up camera assists you with backing. Optional cooled seats are available, which for some of us could be a must, especially with leather seats. The car sits on 20 inch wheels with 8.5 inch wide up front and 9.5 inch wide in the rear and is stopped using 4 piston Brembo disc brakes all around.
