1000+ HP Nitrous Hellcat Challenger World’s Fastest 1/4 Mile
Dodge's Hellcat's have been tearing up the performance scene over the past few years. High Horse Performance out of Smyrna, Delaware just set a new record at Cecil County Dragway, rocketing their Hellcat Challenger deep into 9 second 1/4 mile territory currently making it the worlds fastest Hellcat. Their best run of the night netted a 9.29 @ 147 mph 1/4 mile. BigKleib34 caught this monster on video setting a new record and he was able to catch up with the driver for a quick interview.
HHP has been working with this Hellcat for about a year and they really haven done alot of modifications. For tuning they're using the factory computer with some tuning software to start. The motor and transmission are completely untouched from the factory. They've ported the stock blower slightly helping it push 18 lbs of boost into the engine along with a small 75 shot of nitrous making over 1,000 horsepower. All this power is put down threw a set of drag radials. HHP's goal with the car is to break into the 8's before the end of the year and then they're going to start doing engine and transmission modifications.
