0-173 mph in Brand New 2017 Camaro ZL1!
The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 just hit the showroom floors and has already taken the crown as the fastest factory built Camaro ever! It's powered by the same engine from the ZO6, the supercharged 6.2 liter LT4 producing 650 horsepower and torque rocketing the ZL1 from 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. In a head to head drag race with the 2017 Corvette ZO6, the two cars are nearly side by side from a 35-120 mph roll race. The 2017 ZL1 has gone up against the 707hp Hellcat Challenger as well and came up just short in that roll race with an automatic Hellcat. In this video Hennessey takes the ZL1 from a stop through 5th gear at wide open throttle getting up to 173 mph in just 34 seconds with some easy shifting.
